At 11 Lakes Design, we celebrate the creativity of the Finger Lakes. If you’re an artist, illustrator, photographer, or designer with a passion for this region, we invite you to collaborate with us. Submit your original artwork to be featured on apparel, mugs, prints, home décor, and more.

This is your opportunity to share your work, reach new audiences, and earn commission while helping represent the heart of the Finger Lakes.

How It Works

1. Submit Your Art
Use the form below to tell us about yourself and share your designs or ideas. We accept photography, illustrations, graphic design, and mixed media—anything that captures the Finger Lakes spirit.

2. We Review & Feature Your Work
Once approved, your designs are formatted for our product line and added to our shop. You retain full rights to your work—we just license it for printing on our products.

3. Earn Commission on Every Sale
You’ll earn a percentage of the net profit for every item sold with your design. Payments are sent monthly, and you’ll be credited wherever your work appears.

4. Get Showcased on Our Artists Page
As part of our creative community, you’ll be featured on our Meet the Artists page—with your bio, photo, links, and a gallery of your work. It’s a great way to build exposure and connect with new fans.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can submit?
Any artist based in or inspired by the Finger Lakes region. You do not need to be a professional.

What kinds of products will my art appear on?
Mugs, t-shirts, hoodies, posters, prints, candles, and more. We’ll match your design to the product it suits best.

How much commission will I earn?
Most artists earn between 20-30% of net profit per sale. Exact percentages are discussed upon acceptance.

Can I submit multiple designs?
Yes! You may submit as many as you’d like for consideration.

Artist Agreement Terms

By submitting your artwork, you agree to the Artist Submission and Commission Agreement (PDF), which outlines your rights, commission structure, and responsibilities. Highlights include:

  • Non-exclusive license to sell your work on 11 Lakes Design products

  • You retain full copyright and can sell your art elsewhere

  • Commissions paid monthly

  • Transparent reporting available on request
